ntpdate is definitely more accurate! Is there a start up scritp this could be added to?

At the command line:
sudo date 04021927 (i.e. mmddhhmm)

Then to set the hardware clock:
sudo /sbin/hwclock --systohc

Probably other ways to do it, but I know htis one works as I used it last Sunday...

I had Zenwalk 1.1 dual booting on a Toshiba TE2000 with a very similar partition setup. Could only mount the NTFS partition read only. I'm currently running 2.2 on an even older Toshiba with W2k on FAT32 so I can mount read-write. (I almost never boot in to Windows now  ;) I'd recommend definit...

Been using Zenwalk on an aging Toshiba laptop for a couple of weeks now and really like it. Thanks for a great distro and really good to see you're back on line!
