Was verschlägt Dich nach Jahren wieder hierher?

Have you read the announce note? I mentined there that zenlive does not fit to an CD anymore even without extra content. A live system is a bit different from the standard zenwalk. In order to work it needs a different kernel a live framework, scripts and userpace tools in order to make it work as a...

Hi You referring to the very outdated old zenlive manual. That online manual is not applicable for zenlive anymore since zenlive 6.4 !! Zenlive is using a new live-scripts-framework since last 3 releases and therefore some changes have been introduced. Please see the documentation included on the de...

You can get...

Thanks for testing and reporting. The thing with the mixer applet is, that you first need so select the mixer controls and tell it which control should be the default. That cannot be done automatically as it depends on your sound hardware. Once this has been done you should be able to use mouse scro...

Well, the reason why the old manual is still online is because the whole zenlive team left and I have no access to take the old manual down! For the same reason I cannot upload the new manual which is far from beeing compleate. I asked people for support on updating the manual but no one was actuall...

Did ya read my postings?! I was mentioning several times that: a) The old manual is no longer valid for ZenLive b) unetbootin is unsupported, Zenlive features slackware-live-scripts which offers a method to create bootable usb stick from the running iso, and I also explained how to convert the ISO t...

LOL, what I mean is, that it doesn't help stopping plymouth once it has be run, the gdm issue is only no problem if plymouth doesn't start at all.

chmod 644 /etc/rc.splash will work as well, but only if you restart the system. If you just switch to rl 3 stop plymouth and the restart gdm it won't work.

Please try with plymouth disabled at boot time, I had similar problems and after uninstalling plymouth the issue with GDM has gone.

Thank you so much for testing and reporting. I am glad you didn't find any serious bugs this time. Means we are close to the final release. ;-) Let's hope the updates that will pusded to snapshot until ZW 7.2 final will not break things that are currently working or introducing new issues... BTW, ha...
