what i don't understand is... both gtk+2 and xfce4.6.1 cannot interfere with your alsa. so that's why i don't understand. And i assume that your alsamixer is showing right.

are you using snapshot or not? it's better to provide some basic info before asking helps. this really helps others to pin point the problems you are experiencing.

One question, should I translate the StartupGuide for ZW6 still with gimp or is it better to wait until you ported it to html? i will port the startup guide perhaps for the next version of ZW (but this really depends on how much time i have). so i think better to translate it with GIMP for now. tha...
