Changing "ati" to "radeon" did not fix the problem. Maybe I should wait for the next Zenwalk release? :o)

Thanks Oskar. I tried your suggestions and both methods did not work. Zenwalk will not boot with the xorg.conf file from VectorLinux. And, videoconfig only resets the video settings back to defaults like when Zenwalk was installed. I will try to do a kernel recompiling later when I have some free ti...
