Both packages need a rebuild against the latest x264. avidemux seems to be even 2 versions behind (libx264.so.66), whereas mpd is still at (libx264.so.78). The latest version available is .79. # MAINTAINER : skywatcher (s.skywatcher|AT|gmail|DOT|org, simone antoniucci) #Maintainer: George Vlahavas (...

Works great. That's what I instinctively expected to work and now it works. <3
Now I have to forget that it didn't work. :)

As Borromini said, you can only make it harder for them to do what they want. Unless you disable USB(-Sticks) at all. But then your users probably would be quite annoyed. Another possibility would be to use Sigg3.net's group attempt to limit the users with access to USB-Sticks. Of course you can com...

Updated unison, gammu, wammu (FIFO).
Added gammu + wammu to the list of packages searching maintainer (though they were not mine).

I'm dropping all of my packages, because I don't have to maintain them and my Salix packages. Some are already outdated. This doesn't mean, I'm finished with Zenwalk (it's still running on 2 of 3 comps). I also won't stop looking a bit into the forum (don't expect too much) and on the ML(s). sg2conf...

Unetbootin should give you the same result on different OS, given that you provide it with the same input.

The used by information outputed by lsmod, doesn't tell you wether the module is needed for your hardware. It only tells you if the module is needed by/used by another module. So I wouldn't just unload all those modules. But together with lshw you could be able to track down some really unused modul...
