The reason security is so tight is becaus unused, fake, and spam accounts are a big problem. Some of it may be unnecessary, though that is not for me to decide. To change your account, I suggest pm-ing an admin.

Currently there is no zenwalk nvidia package. You can download and install it from nvidia's site. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us Pick Linux 32 bit and whichever card you have. I believe it some pretty good instructions, but if you need help and cannot find it, feel free to ask ...

The standard edition is for installation, live is for booting off of a cd or other removable media. I am not sure if zenwalk live includes the ability to install from the disk, but it is great to test out zenwalk or repair a computer. The live edition has mostly the same content as standard, but req...

I am working on a hardware project that uses Linux. Specifically, it is to use a heavily modified Zenwalk. I have lots of experience with Zenwalk, but not with making an iso image, so any tips, tricks, instructions, or helpful links would be appreciated. I also may end up trying to recompile the par...

I noticed in a different application that it could not connect to debugfs, but it was not fatal so I never cared. Then I remembered that you had the same problem, so I did a bit of investigation, and debugfs does not seem to exist in my filesystem, nor has it in previously in zenwalk 7.0. I have lit...

I will look into it, but hybrid graphics generally involves 2 GPUs, using what you need, when you need it. I need 2 GPUs running 2 separate x screens.

I will try this when I get the chance, but it seems this person has a very different problem (x runs on his, just no desktop). EDIT: Yeah, that person is using one gpu for 2 screens, which I can do without problems, acting the way I want it to. I want to use 2 separate and unlike gpus. Thanks anyway...

I have been experimenting with using 2 monitors on separate gpus, namely the integrated intel graphics on my cpu/motherboard and a nvidia gtx 480 (previously a gt 240, where this scenario is more relevant). My motherboard has support for using pcie graphics and integrated graphics simultaneously, ze...

Though I have been part of zenwalk for a decent amount of time, and often try to contribute to it, I believe that I have never successfully subscribed to any of the mailing lists. Previously, I would read the mailing list archives, but that was a long time ago, when they were updated. Can anybody te...

For example: netpkg Available version: 4.9.1 - build 3jp / Installed version: 4.9.1 - build 3jp Mirror: chronos.iut-bm.univ-fcomte.fr/distributions/zenwalk/i486/snapshot/zenwalk Description: netpkg - Zenwalk n...
