3.9 isn't a stable release, the stable release in this serie, is the 3.10 version, this version need another gtk+3 version.

mousepad is on extra now, use xnetpg for install it,

or use geany it is present, on ISO of zenwalk-7.4

your printer cups service is probably, no actived:

in root xterm:

chmod 0755 /etc/rc.d/rc.cups

cd /etc/rc.d/

rc.cups start

So guys where do we stand on this BETA phase? Is it ready to be released?? Can i upgrade or shall i wait. I cant have a broken system here. Btw currently i have 3.6.11 kernel. tested here, with my new git package version since one week, seem to work correctly now.

a good idea is also to use the xinitrc.xfce script from slackware, for xfce4 work bettter, with startx.
