Dear Folks,

I have 7.2 here, have installed official Nvidia driver (latest). When ever i try to lock the screen (xflock4), it initiates Xscreensaver internally which resets the brightness and contrast settings to default (very bright whitish screen).

Also from terminal if i run nvidia-settings -l command, nothing happens. The same happens with the previous driver. I guess this isnt a driver issue
All i have to do is launch the nvidia settings control window app to reset the brightness and contrast values as i wanted.

Any help is much appreciated.
