It's available here:
http://download.zenwalk.org/people/borr ... 6-2Z26.tgz
http://download.zenwalk.org/people/borr ... 6-2Z26.md5

You'll need the PyGTK (available via netpkg).

Hi,

It works like a charm.

One thing  ;)
In your .desktop file, replace:
Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/bittorrent.png
with:
Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/BitTorrent-4.4.0/bittorrent.ico

Best regards.

Hi,

XFCE has evolved in term of icon theme handling. It's now using the
GtkIconTheme class instead of XfceIconTheme. This makes XFCE fully
compliant with the way icon themes are handled in Gnome.

We need to clean up our desktop files, could each package maintainer
check for his own packages that  :

1) The ".desktop" file reference the icon by its symbolic name, ie :
"Icon=tea" in /usr/share/applications/tea.desktop for the tea.png icon.

2) That the package includes the icon, with correct name, located in :
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/  <-- if it's a 48x48 png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/  <-- if it's a svg

ie : /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/tea.png

PLease rebuild packages this way, so that we are fully freedesktop
compliant, and all apps can find the icon when needed (ie : xfwm4 for
window bar icon, menu, minimized windows, desktop shortcuts, ...

btw : attached a screenshot of Zenwalk 2.4 desktop, showing desktop
launchers icons, and Zenwalk "magic" device mountpoint manager, built
with udev/thunar/scripts. It allows automount&magic-mountpoint-creation
of USB devs, and rigtht click mount of CDs, like HAL, but without HAL,
allowing all features to be available in console mode also (cdmount.sh
and usbmount.sh).

Thanks

JP

please only png and svg and use the correct folder. If the icon is not there I think the build-script should move it there

Update: package has been updated and is now XFCE-desktopcompliant :). I've updated the links in the start post (now version 2Z26).

I tried to install the package - and it shows up in the menu -> network -> bittorrent ... when executed nothing happens (should I reboot first?) - what is supposed to happen ... a GUI program will show up? ... or is it a passive program that autoruns when connecting to a bittorent server? ... please explain.

Thanks for the package, Borromini. I'm getting this error when I attempt to use it however:

File "/usr/lib/python2.4/webbrowser.py", line 38, in get
    raise Error("could not locate runnable browser")
Error: could not locate runnable browser

I have the pkgtk installed.

Which pygtk? This version was built on pygtk 2.8. It is recommended you update to Transmission however (which is the Zenwalk default bittorrent client). Bittorrent 4.4.0 is quite old.

Do you have a browser installed?
