I have build a package of the excellent and ultra light file manager in gtk2, pcmanfm.

it is here:

it is build --disable-hal,


WARNING: PCMANFM need rpc and famd services actived for work correctly.

Qualities: it has more functions than thunar

Défaut: it seems a little slow on certain action, like removing

I think that it is very promising. ;)

it manages also the desktop.

The rpc service is it started ?

(fam need rcp now, i think). ;)

with snapshot
after turning on rpc and then famd it works ;-) i normally have both off as famd may cause annoyances with fuse-mounts.
