We had the same problems with previous kernel.

These problems started when we began using the Slackware udev..

Hi,

You should make a screenshot of this kernel panic. Maybe it can give useful information.

I may install this RC1 on my computer tonight.

I don't have any of this problems. I will say that the system works so good that I really I'm not waiting anymore for something better. I try all the different udev and I cannot find any difference. I already install all my pkg
including hal and hal-info. And again I did not find any difference.(but somebody can try to install them to see if there is)
I can install from internal and external cd, no hangs.
Did somebody try the new Archbang, has same kernel and post so Hyperion can check any udev or kernel config that is different?
--------------------------------------------
I will try anyway to build an iso whit this kernel now.. Just question what about
kernel-headers? Will be any conflict?

Nice to read this :)

Anyway it's a random problem, and an hardware dependent one, so we have to make sure it's fixed on most configs.
