Instalei o Zen 6 gnome e achei ótimo... porem ele não fala... é mudo!

Chequei o drive ALSA e (aparentemente) está tudo ok... mas continua mudo!

Instalado em:
Notebook ASUS Intel Celeron M ATI X1100 ram 2Gb

Alguem tem ou teve o mesmo problema?
O que pode estar havendo?

Ok... depois de examinar todas as opções de correções, resolvi reinstalar o ALSA usando o repositório do iBiblio.

Foram atualizados diversos outros pacotes automaticamente... excelente!

Slackware e Gnome... the best! \!D/
