Anyone fancy putting together a few nice dark Zenwalk SLiM themes?

At the moment, there are only 2 SLiM themes that are Zen specific, and they are both a light-ish blue.

A couple of black or grey ones would be nice.

Hi Bonzodog.

It's OK to ask and we can always hope someone will do this for you... but, be aware that Zenwalk doesn't use SLiM default - it uses GDM - it reduces your chance of finding help.

Best regards,
Claus

Um, actually as of 4.8, SLiM is now the default login manager. If you were to do a clean install of 4.8 you get SLiM instead of gdm, as SLiM now supports session management.

Not really, GDM is the default one. You probably have some 4.8 RC version which DID have SLiM as the default login manager. It was the last minute decision to revert to GDM.

Still, it would be nice if maybe someone could port the Black Zenwalk GDM theme to SLiM -- I Particularly like that one.

Any chance of someone creating some more Zen SLiM themes?

Ones I would like to see are the black one hosted at f-r-e-d.org, and one using the new silver backdrop.
