I also use GIMP, so it will be there in the screenshot.

But you can put a timer on the screenshot so you can open your menu. And I suppose you could also put the GIMP on a different desktop.

you can use Ksnapshot, it is present in kdegraphics package.

you can also use "import capture.png" , it is present in ImageMagick package

I use scrot, the -d [ # ] option puts a # seconds delay so you can switch desktops or open menus to get whatever effect you're looking for

They might well be distant relatives but I do not know for sure.  It is an pld picture of Johnshaven in NE Scotland, where my fathers family comes from.

yes..if someone called me "gentleman" doesn't move my post^^
I think Neo uses Composite function from /etc/X11/xorg.conf
With this pc i can't..i can only make normal transparence..:(

this is the new one with new kbfx:
Image
Image

-Kmenu is controlled by kbfx
-The kickbar color is only a glassed png to load in configure--kickbar--add background
-I use even Metabar,as light konqueror side-bar..u can find the programs and many themes on kde-apps.org/kde-looks.org
-The windows theme is Dekorator..with clear-look theme
-Color is clear-look
-Icons belongs to new Knew icon set
-The style is called Serenity
-The transparent applet u can see in the center of the picture is Katapult,a launch program
-I use only one applet of superkaramba called simply "disc"
-I've created another above bar, with the same color of the main one below
-The taskbar is the new taskbar v2,which provides a miniature of the iconed windows
-Background comes from my Content on http://www.kde-look.org---wallpapers--1024x768 called Lost 2
-I use totally transparent xfce terminal(more fast even) and a great yakuake descent from the above to give you a total shell-control even with many windows opened..
-You cannot see in this shot, but i use very often a Kompose..the same as Expose on mac..a new Pager..

if you're interesting in some particular thing i give u the right link
byez
