An updated build has been uploaded which addresses most of the issues Stillborn was pointing out (the file name is the same, so please use the previous posted links to download).
Good testing Stillborn, thanks!

Tested,

Default wallpaper is now correctly set when using external monitor \!D/
Pcmanfm no crash anymore, but maybe it's good to set the default terminal emulator to pcmanfm(add .config/libfm/libfm.conf)

I didn't figure out the fluxbox systray thing, but not so important.
All seems to work what i need.

:)

Thank you so much for testing and reporting. I am glad you didn't find any serious bugs this time. Means we are close to the final release. ;-)
Let's hope the updates that will pusded to snapshot until ZW 7.2 final will not break things that are currently working or introducing new issues...

BTW, have you tried the ZL installer function?
For this one I need some more feedback.

Also it might be interessting for you that ZL comes with full read/write support for Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
That might be interessting for your friends in China, maybe we can get some feedback from them about the language support (myself can only test Japanese ;-) )

i have separate root and home partition but the installer only asks for one partition to install to. I didn't continue.

Hi everybody, I am new to Zenwalk live(still trying to find home in this linux world) and i'm going to attempt installation tonight. I have already attempted it ounce, but didn't know what the root password was(I later realized it was disabled). I will continue installation as soon as i figure out how to enable both Broadcom ST and the root password cheat code.

I found two issues:

1. When in Firefox and the download-manager opened downloaded a file. I click right mouse button on downloaded file -> click on menu-option "open contained folder". Then I get a dialog with the question what program to use to open the location, where I have to browse to the file "Thunar (or other filebrowser)" somewhere on the server ( /bin/ ), can't simply select the program. I think this should be already been defaulted as Thunar (or other file browser).

2. When I put my mouse on the audio icon in the bottom panel and scroll, I assumed the volume would change. This is not the case. Also by scrolling on the icon the icon gets automatically removed from the toolbar, with a question dialog prompting: "Plugin "Mixer" unexpectedly left the panel, do you want to restart it?". This behavior is not happening with other icons. Maybe ad something like this http://support.zenwalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=22796&p=119976&hilit=scroll+volume#p119976" instead.

Thanks for testing and reporting.

The thing with the mixer applet is, that you first need so select the mixer controls and tell it which control should be the default. That cannot be done automatically as it depends on your sound hardware. Once this has been done you should be able to use mouse scroll wheel to raise/lower the volume while pointer is over the tray applet.
It seems the applet crashes if no mixer controls are selected, but this issue must be addressed upstream as it is not specific to Zenlive only.

For the firefox issue you mentioned I think that is default behavior, but you can tell ff to remember the choice you made and it won't ask again.
