I visited http://wiki.zenwalk.org/index.php?title=Buildpkg and found it has been vandalised. The account that's being used is http://wiki.zenwalk.org/index.php?title ... s/Akigatyb and there are a lot of edits! Somebody needs to disable the account.

[EDIT] I've fixed the Buildpkg page because I wanted to read it :)

Well, I wanted to read most of it :), so I've cleaned up what I could find in HowTo and Hardware.

The vandalism appears mostly as greyed-out text with bogus announcements that the site is down for some reason or another, and an invitation to click through to a "reserve article", which would do ghawd-knows-what if you did. If anyone else needs/wants to clean any articles, look for this bit of HTML
Code:
----
<div style="background: #E8E8E8 none repeat scroll 0% 0%; overflow: hidden; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 2em; position: absolute; width: 2000px; height: 2000px; z-index: 1410065407; top: 0px; left: -250px; padding-left: 400px; padding-top: 50px; padding-bottom: 350px;">
----
=[http://ukusypumi.co.cc This Page Is Currently Under Construction And Will Be Available Shortly, Please Visit Reserve Copy Page]=
----
=[http://ukusypumi.co.cc CLICK HERE]=
----
</div>

The links will vary of course. Remove all of the above and save the page. It's usually located near the top, but can be anywhere in the page.

There is also the occasional link stating that the article is down, in an otherwise-readable article. I that case, look for and remove something that looks like this

Code:
=[http://eludevyvema.co.cc Under Construction! Please Visit Reserve Page. Page Will Be Available Shortly]=
I only removed the above code, I did not change any content ... well, except for about a half-dozen typos. Couldn't help myself. :)

Just a small thank-you for responses to my n00b questions ... I'm sure there'll be more.

JM

Not sure where to post this, hence as a reply to an existing thread.
