sorry I did un-install slack
For what I remember I did not have problems with keyboard or
mouse. I use american keyboard
More big problem with lilo. I had always to boot slack from the install CD. And when I did install slackware kernel in zenwalk for my
wireless problem if I run lilo -v is all OK but if I have to run liloconfig again it fail. As I say I did try btrfs.
About zenwalk I'm using snap with extra pkg. I already post some problems here

viewtopic.php?f=28&t=40449

I'm using new lidrm and new intel driver from slack
One problem that come often: when you move stuff from one folder to another one is not a typical cut paste it just copy and then you have
to manual delete the stuff in the old folder.
And there is in root the directory menu that open the user folder not
the root one.
Anyway it looks mature.

I think it's good to provide lots of packages for a distribution like Slackware.

Slackware is not usable out of the box for an average user, like other Desktop distros such as Ubuntu or Zenwalk. Slackware is a bit likle LFS, it's a toolkit for geeks and developpers, that they can use to create their own custom server / desktop.
