(SOLVED) Totem crashes with a Segmentation fault

Hi,

I tried to play with the plugins in totem and now, I’m getting this:

Segmentation fault

It must come from some gst-plugins but I don’t know how to disable them. Does someone know which file to edit?

Okay, so this is a libpeas problem. It can’t load some plugins. I could start Totem again after typing this:

Didn’t work. I also tried to reinstall Totem and its dependencies, and still the same error.

I had this problem when I install a kernel build by me.
Reinstalling zenwalk kernel solved the problem
Before I try
gnome-settings-daemon
gnome-video-effects
gsettings-desktop-schemas
wxgtk
I supose is not your problem but notifications were the same.

It seem that is due of a conflict under 'mesa' and 'xf86-video-nvidia'

try, remove 'xf86-video-nvidia' and reinstall mesa.

I reinstaled the kernel and the NVidia driver.
It works, now.

if you use nvidia card, it's normal

a new kernel, need recompil xf86-video-nvidia driver, for this new kernel

finally, i love radeon card

I have an Intel card.
I try a kernel 3.2-rc3 (interesting, has new alsa driver and seems also
more performant, maybe as I try to compile more for my system, no generic support but for pentium III coppermine)
Everything works except cheese that come out whit that.
90% is my fault. I'm not and expert in kernel or whatever.
Maybe is the cheese team that will have to find out.
I did use totem but not the plugins.
But notifications was the same so I did post my experience.

Just a question
pulse is not in the iso but as soon you install some audio pkg it ends
installed. And I did not find any problem.
My snapshot works very good. Even more then good.
I have only two little problems
No video in cheese but yes in skype
and no spellchecker in libreoffice.
Not bad for snapshot.
Yesterday I try a live cd of another distro, an alpha1, plenty of problems.
