Miro

Miro is a free application that turns your computer into an internet TV video player. You can download it here for Windows, Mac, or Linux. This release is still a beta version, which means that there are some bugs, but we're moving quickly to fix them and will be releasing bug fixes on a regular basis.
The Linux version of Miro uses GStreamer or Xine to play videos. Xine supports: MPEG 1/2/4, DivX 3/4/5, Windows Media 7/8, QuickTime, Theora, and more. You can see the full list of what Xine can play right here. GStreamer has varying levels of support: Theora and AVI are well-supported; MPEG 1 is supported but has licensing issues; AAC and H.264 are not well-supported. See GStreamer for more information.

I get the same errors as Dennis. I can't launch this.

Is gnome-python really needed? If it is, this means you also have to download all of gnome for this...

Also your build log seems to be truncated.

Well, in that case, gnome-python has to be added to the dep file along with all of its deps:
Code:
atk,avahi,bzip2,cxxlibs,dbus,dbus-glib,expat,fontconfig,freetype,gail,gcc,gconf,gksu,glib2,gnome-desktop,gnome-keyring,gnome-media,gnome-panel,gnome-vfs,gstreamer,gtk+2,gtksourceview,hal,libart_lgpl,libbonobo,libbonoboui,libcm,libcroco,libglade,libgnome,libgnomecanvas,libgnomeprint,libgnomeprintui,libgnomeui,libgsf,libgtkhtml,libgtop,libidl,libjpeg,libpng,librsvg,libwnck,libxml2,mesa,metacity,nautilus-cd-burner,nss-nspr,openssl,orbit2,pango,popt,python,startup-notification,totem,xorg,xulrunner,zlib

Quite many of them...

while trying to run this program, i got this error.

libgtkembedmoz.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

i also installed gnome-python, but if you read the post (http://bugzilla.pculture.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8395), i need gnome-python2-gtkmozembed

do you have any idea if we have this anywhere on the zenwalk world?

best wishes

I updated the .dep file.

Tsuren,

Can you download the dep file and launch this command : depcheck -f Miro-0.9.8.1-i486-48.1.dep
It is a good exercice to compare your package and mine.

nss and nss-nspr are the same package, I think.
It was installed when I installed a previous gnome version from zeqadious.

Normally if you have nss-nspr, it is OK.

Can you look if you have  libgtkembedmoz.so in /usr/share/firefox_version ?

usually you wouldn't use the libgtkmozembed from firefox since its a static library.

You may be missing the xulrunner package, which provides libgtkmozembed and various other 'shared' libraries for linking.

i found the file under /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.8.1.7pre and not under firefox.
