 Post subject: [SOLVED]files of database created by phpmyadmin

hello. i would like to ask where can i find the database created by phpmyadmin.i believe that the database in MySQL are represented as directories and tables are represented as files within those directories.but i dont know where these are stored.i tried running whereis but this is just the result:

what i would like to do is to transfer my database created with phpmyadmin in linux into windows because my school required it.in windows, i know where the directories are created by phpmyadmin.i searched the web and i found that there is a command "mysqldump".can i just export my database from linux and import it in windows?

i found where mysql store its database
