Hi
I'm using xaralx (rev 1692) for monthes on my zenwalk box...  ;)

As I said above, you need wxgtk *with unicode enabled* (for example the 2.6.3 on Linuxpackages) to run xara.
Image Magick is optional I think.

I just installed:
wxgtk:  http://www.linuxpackages.net/download.php?id=8078
xaralx-0.7rev1692: http://downloads.xara.com/opensource/Re ... 92.tar.bz2

@ursvik

I had the same problem like you on Zenwalk 4.4.1 and Xara didn't work regardless any "repairs" I tried. Installing Zenwalk 4.6.1, Xara is working fine without any installation. ImageMagick is optional.
