I installed Zenwalk-gnome 7 and have some troubles with my ZTE MF668A umts modem, after plugging in it the system recognizes it as GSM modem and as storage. So far it is OK, but the Networkmanager does not see anything, I cant use this modem with it. I have mainly used Slackware for 2-3 years, and this problem has not appeared with Slack 13.37 ever.

I removed the Networkmanager package and installed the version of Slackbuild of Networmanager but neither it works.

What can be the problem?

Thanks for the reply, I have forgotten to install the package Modemmanager, so now it does work.
