I just installed on my laptop and my wifi card in not even showing up as an option.  I do ifconfig and all I get is "lo"  and if I do iwconfig I get "lo" and "eth0" both with no wireless extensions.  so How can I get it to at least show up?  it looks like other people on the forum are using my card so it should work right?

U have to download this: http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/firmware.php?fid=7
this wireless card uses firmware, so it can cause legal troubles to include it in the repos.

Sorry I haven't given an update.  Thanks thats all I had to do was add that to the firmware.  I appreciate your help
