I started a games section in the wiki. 

I created a main page (http://wiki.zenwalk.org/index.php/Games) which lists all available genres, and then a separate page for each genre that lists the available games for the corresponding genre along with a brief description for each.

I have only created a page for LTris (http://wiki.zenwalk.org/index.php/LTris). I want to make sure we all agree on a format before doing all the others. 

Please post any comments that you might have, maybe we need more or maybe less genres, maybe the page for each game should be formatted differently, maybe you would have done the whole thing in a totally different way.

maybe it would be better to make a link from the main page. just by removing the new letter perhaps...

looks nice to me so far. i think we'll see about which genres are needed and which not, when more games are listed, so i wouldn't worry about this yet. perhaps we could include the name of the package-maintainer in the header of each game page. other than this i think it's perfect. just a little a description and some screenshots, that's enough of information i think.

About the link from the main page: I don't have the rights to edit it! But even if I did it's not my decision to make and I would prefer the games section was populated first. 

I'd like to have some small graphic in the main games page that would be displayed in the right side of the screen, maybe a gamer tux or something similar.

I'm not sure how to tell between some genres. I don't know if some games should be categorized under "arcade" or should we make a "platform" genre and dump "arcade"...

I've already added RPGs to the adventure genre. We'll probably see how the genres go but I think we have games in testing for every genre that is in there now (I'm not sure about sports).

Oh, and I added the maintainer information. 

not all arcade-games are platform-games too. or are they? i'm somewhat confused with these genres, too. 

perhaps we could ask for someone to create a 'zen-gaming-logo' in the 'artwork'-section.

Yes, you're right. Not all arcade games are platforms. There are games like lbreakout which cannot be considered platform.

I'll see if I can come up with something nice for a logo myself and if I can't I'll make a request at the artwork section (good idea).

I think it's nice. I've put it in the first page. Tell me if you like it, or if we should ask someone more skilled in graphics to make a better one.

Please remember to include a link on each page back to the main games page. You have to make navigation a top priority. That's why I'm constantly changing our homepage and other sites.

A simple solution is looking here and using the search feature to find the category. http://packages.gentoo.org/categories/ That will help you to get started. Later on you can make the appropriate changes that are smart in your opinion.

Also you can ask the packager to post in FIFO what category the game falls under.

Yes, you are right. The categories pages need a link back to the main games page. There is one in each games page already.
