New to Zenwalk so a simple question - is there a Linux tool similar to ZoneAlarm? I know its Windows but it just works. Really good. Any suggestions?

Usualy linux is much safer then Win and has a very good "firewall": iptables. To enable it in Zenwalk just go to Zenpanel > Network Settings > Select interface > Check "Enable firewall" > Apply configuration.

If you're looking for a graphical interface you could install Firestarter ( just search it on the repos ).

Sorry it took so long to reply - had wireless troubles. Now that things are working again - I can't get to 'apply configuration'. Although I have network access, when I open the settings box there are no network interfaces listed. Can tick the firewall box but of course won't apply because of no interface chosen. Any ideas? Thanks.
