another type of spamming?

You'd probably (hopefully.... ) not notice (all too much), but there are a ton of spam entries removed each day. The usual pattern is that a spammer (spam-bot?) 'breaks' the captcha, creates a 'new' user, puts up a spam message and then abandons the user entry. That does give us a load of 'new' users each day, but those are mainly single-post 'users'..

FYI: 'before lunch' we're up to ~40 spam-posts 'deleted', from about 20 'new' users that we'll very probably never hear from again.
