Are you using the Zenwalk ati-fglrx package provided by bipbip or the package straight from ATI? I don't think the ati-fglrx package has been rebuilt for the latest kernel release, so the ATI package may be your better solution unless you want to compile your own against the 6.0 kernel. That is, if you did install ZW 6.0? Afterall, you didn't give us much info to work with in your message.

Thanks for your response, yes I am using ZW 6.0, I was following the wiki directions which involved downloading the driver from the ATI website. I am totally dependent on those or any other instructions as compiling my own package is way over my head at this point. The graphics card I have is HD2400 Pro if this is relevant.

Yes, I installed the kernel-source package. It was the first thing the wiki how-to said to do.

If you haven't upgraded with any snapshot files, the ATI driver should work with your setup. You can of course use the "radeonhd" driver, which gives good results although not all the features. There is a Zenwalk compiled package for ATI, but again, I don't think it has been compiled with this latest kernel with the ext4 support. I just had to do a fresh install yesterday, so haven't compiled it yet to test. I will try to get to that later today and reply with my results and location of the file, if all works.

That is the topic that also contains the Zenwalk package. The build there may work for you, I haven't tried it. There are some instructions as well that should help. You will have to remove anything you've already installed with the ATI un-installer. Just use zpm -iv <location & package>. If you don't have zpm yet, be sure to download it! \!D/

I now have the ATI driver installed. I used the package that bipbip provided and installed it following metatux's reply.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my post.
