Missing hardware information with 2.6.17.11

Hi folks,

I'm missing some hardware information on the latest zenwalk kernel. Is this a known bug or does someone have another idea?!

I'm missing entries in /proc/acpi/thermal_zone and /proc/acpi/fan [1]
I have an AMD Athlon64 3700+, powernow-k8 and w83627hf (hwmon) is loaded [2]
I also perform a depmod -a -v 2.6.17.11 (thanks to borromini).

Any ideas?
