My system:
-AMD Athlon 800MHZ
-ECS K6 VTA3
-512 MB
-Adaptec 2940 UW
-IBM DNES 9GB, SCSI
-Zip 100 ,Scsi
-Teac CD-R58S , scsi

I startet with Linux some years before with RedHat, than changed over to Fedora and now i am using Zenwalk.
Most of the smaller distributions (i tried a lot!) just forget to implement a few bytes for a scsi-driver in the installation cd - as a result the problems for you as a user just begin at installation what i don't like !
Thanks to Xfce using as standard desktop, Zenwalk belongs to the fastest distributions.
The upgrade possibility with netpkg and the simple installation makes Zenwalk my first choice.
Thanks for this excellent distribution supporting my scsi hardware!
