Looks like you don't need to be in the ROI or UK to see Father Ted anymore...

1. gail package does not exist anymore. Remove from your system and from dep file.
2. No docs in usr/doc
3. Icon line in .desktop file has extension
4. Exec lines in desktop file should not have full path, Path is not really needed and the last line with GenericName[en_US]= isn't either
5. It reports that the flash plugin is not installed when I launch it...
6. Not available in Greece so I can't really test it

Really interesting... and for once something that also work in Belgium (but it does not provide French channel in Belgium )

Unfortunatly, it does not works for me

* First, I had to made a link for the flash plugins manually in the /usr/lib/zatto/xulrunner/plugins otherwise it told me "The Flash plugin does not seem to be installed. Please install the Adobe Flash plugin, available at http://www.adobe.com"
* then, when I start a channel, it starts buffering, then the program segfault at around 20%. Last logs in zattoo.debuglog is

As for the rest 2.3.. - I've no intention to maintain this package for the repository... - fixed nevertheless.

Fixed flash-not-installed error when the flash-plugin is installed locally ( ~/.mozilla) instead of in /usr/lib/flashplugin/
Added link to /usr/lib/flashplugin in ...zattoo/xulrunner/plugins/
and installed the zenwalk flash package - still runs fine!

sorry, I did not explain it right :
Program starts, I can select the channel, it start sbuffering and then (at 20% buffering) it segfault.s. So it probably is a problem in the player, but I have not much info from the logs (which player is it using anyway ? proprietary?).

There seems to be a new version for zattoo available, so that this version doesn't run anymore.
I get a message of:

Upgrade Available
A new version of Zattoo is available (3.3.1 Beta)

I have been automatically lead to the page http://zattoo.com/de/download/linux for download.
Can I just use the files from that site and play it over the others. Or will I than get problems.

Generally a bad idea - old files stay in place, links might point to old files and removing the package wouldn't clean up properly.
Better update the 'VERSION=3.3.1.18350' in build-zattoo.sh, rebuild and upgradepkg.

This looks very interesting. I put myself on the email waitlist for whenever they start serving zattoo in my country.

downloaded and installed without a problem. Reported a problem with openGL and mesa and will have to check that. Shame that I didn't read the web page better and see that it is not available for the U.S. yet. Oh well, put my name on the wait list. Looks very interesting. Thanks
