Well... Netpkg upgrade-all, as stated before (and in this very thread), is to be used with caution (always). Especially now that the repository is in the process of being restored. :)

I did a full upgrade once I installed 2.2 a week ago, I've had no issues. YMMV

What about udev ? I still have udev 064 and old sysinit, if I issue netpkg upgrade-new will it broke my system ?

Hm. Did you upgrade the aaa package already? Zenwalk 2.4 is what new packages are built for, it's the next release. The latest one is 2.2.

Yes, I upgraded aaa-base this very morning; upgrade-new will also replace the current conf files with the .new ones inside the packages right ?

As u r speaking of it, when willt it be released? I hope it has fixed some of those minor issues (udev, iirc).
Cant wait for a next fulworking release anymore ^^

Erm... 2.2 is a fully working release ;-). I think, since udev is pretty new when it comes to managing hotplug's tasks, it's pretty common that it has some issues - unfortunately.
