My bad.] But I'm not really sure what that post means. It's pretty off-topic for a start. And although the thing about Queen is kind of interesting, your commentary is completely undermining everything I said, not to mention the fact that you basically repeated something I said (the bit about not being important) without quoting, as though it was your idea. I don't normally do this but I care quite a bit about the issue here, and I'd appreciate it if you could avoid making my opinion look stupid (although this probably wasn't intentional).

But since my computer is committed to Zenwalk GNOME, I just want to ask:
Since gapan left, is it better to go back to original Zenwalk (XFCE) or there's already a person in charge of the GNOME version line?

xfce is the best! No gnome for me....it what makes zenwalk very special.

Huh, just goes to show that a confrontational attitude does not help when trying to work with people.

Don't know, plenty of people who are technically savvy seem to lack diplomacy and shall we say 'social skills'.

I have not really used Zenwalk for about two years now, although still running 2.6 on an old 900mhz machine where it is still extremely fast and stable, just the ticket for a quick browse and email.
But I'll use it again on newer machines whenever it seems right.
If I went by the politics there'ld be nothing left to use, no Debian, no Slackware, no PCLOS, and most of the others I don't like particularly.
Despite people having obvious grievances, I think JP is right to look to the future. Long live Zenwalk, and all the best to people involved in this sorry episode.
