Hello ! I'm having some problems with netpkg. First I can't lauch it in graphic mode, actually nothing happens after typing the root password.
So until I had the next problem, I was using netpkg from a terminal.

When I tried to install the game Urban Terror, I sudennly lost my internet connection, and the download stopped. My problem is that when I try to reinstall it, I'm given the message

"Nothing to do, urbanterror-4.1-i486-54.1.tgz is already in local cache"

I guess i need to clean this "local cache" in order to start the installation again.

It seems it is doable from the graphic mode, but as I said it doesn't work.

I tried to launch xnetpkg from the terminal and I can read

"Couldn't recognize the image file format for file '/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/netpkg.svg' at /usr/sbin/xnetpkg line 215."

reinstall 'librsvg' package.

in root xterm, 'netpkg librsvg'

I reinstalled librsvg but nothing has changed....

The local repository is by default /var/packages ( this can be changed in /etc/netpkg.conf and corresponds to the value of Local_repository ). You can remove the partially downloaded file from the repository, it would be probably in /var/packages/extra/games/, or you can remove the entire repository of downloaded packages.

Seems like I should read your entire post before answering.
Maybe a simple netpkg netpkg can solve your problem.

Don't worry karlheinz :) I did an netpkg netpkg before posting this topic. But the most important fact is that when I tried to launch netpkg in his graphic mode... it worked ! I don"t know it suddenly happened
Maybe it's the suggested by gmg (I didn't reboot my computer after I did it)
