Hello, everyone. H!!!

Zenwalk is a good linux distro and I've been using it for many years with no problem. Recently I installed zenwalk 7.0 openbox to a grandpa's machine (p3 1G with 256M memory). To my surprise, the running speed is not as fast as I thought.

System shuts down very slow (I disabled font & icon caching at the end). Operation often responses choked, even when opening xterm window. Yesterday I found a stranger problem. When I draw simple line at a 640x480 blank picture under gimp 2.6.11/12, the brush trail lags upon moving quicker.

I checked htop info. It showed that gimp used up to 60~70% cpu resource, and X server ( "audit 0 -nolisten tcp vt7" ) used more than 20% when drawing. After many tests, I found that even if I moved mouse around quickly at desktop and did nothing, the cpu usage went up to 20%. Is there a screen relative program working background or just keybinding confilicts ?

Any suggestions are welcome. 'cause I don't want to reinstall another version system. Thanks a lot! S!
