Hello everyone,

I updated mplayer from old version to 72.1 version through netpkg by adding all dependencies. But I am getting this error when I started mplayer...

Code:
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libx264.so.116: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


Any solutions ?? D!!

You can create a symbolic link.

Code:
cd /usr/lib
ln -s libx264.so.122 libx264.so.116



Mplayer needs a rebuild due to the new x264 package.

But, I have one question...

When i tried to update mplayer, there were two pkgs in Snapshot repo.. I am giving below links to pkg database...

http://packages.zenwalk.org/?p=mplayer- ... n=snapshot
http://packages.zenwalk.org/?p=mplayer- ... n=snapshot

Which is the latest one and actually the first one worked fine. Havent tried second one...

Anyways if there is an update, it should be a second build right ? ;)
