Hola:

Soy un absoluto novato en el mundo linux y después de leer y hacer bastante distrowatch me he decidido a instalar Zenwalk en un viejo portátil Dell L400 PIII700/128 Ram/10Gb/ Ati.

Todo es perfecto excepto el WIFI. NO conigo hacer funcionar la tarjeta Zyxel G100. He leido bastante en prism54.org, etc.. pero no consigo hacer que funcione. Si realizo un iwconfig... la tarjeta siempre apoarece not ready. El comando dmesg
muestra que no puede cargar el firmware isl3890, aunque yo lo he descargado y copiado en el path que me indica en prism54.org...

Estoy bastante desesperado con esto y agradecería cualquier ayuda que puedan ofrecerme.

Que es lo que hiciste hasta ahora? You uso una D-Link DWL-G650+ con ndiswrapper, pero eso es otra historia.
Compilaste algun modulo? Creo que hay un howto en el Wiki de ZEN, pero es en ingles... Si nececitas ayuda con el ingles, mandame una PM.
