Has anyone chat with ondisk lately? I'd like to purchase a disk set,
but ondisk only shows ZenWalk 3.0

!!oh and does this include the source?

Hopefully today as the CD is issued for publishing at the manufacturer.

For those interested, here is a sneek peak of the new CD label artwork!

I'll post back as soon as they are ready for purchase.

Hi,

First I want to thank all the users who donated some money to the project, which, for example, allowed me to buy a new motherboard and CPU for the Zenwalk cradle

However we need more donations, to rent the main server hosting , or to buy testing devices (for example I have to buy a wifi router for the developer who will code our upcoming Wifi configuration tool).

Zenwalk aims to remain totally free, don't worry, we will never ask for donation to provide download URLs, in the same way as other projects are beginning to do.

I cant donate any thing, unless theres a donation accepting site for INR currency. Plus no credit card too

in fact Z is the best distro I've ever loaded on my old epia M10000 mini-itx board...
whould it be possible to donate via international bank transfert, paypal or whatsoever?

another question: since I bought an used Ibook g4, is there some plan to port Z to ppc? this whould be great since xubuntu-ppc is very slllooooowwww and yellowdog sucks!

That would be really nice I think, but I don't think anyone from the dev team has a ppc machine to begin with and even if they did, it would take a considerable amount of time and effort to port everything over. So, for the time being the answer would be: not quite probable. $:-\$

Many thanks. I have just upgraded to 4.8 from my 4.6 install using the instructions in the wiki. I'm so impressed I placed an order with On-Disc and will do a fresh install once it arrives. Everything is tight and fast-

omg. This is and has been my preferred OS of choice for a while now along with others. In Zenwalk, I have kde, gnome, e17, icewm,., fluxbox, etc all working. I would love to donate to the continued great work done here. The developers and contributors have really made zenwalk great and fully feature rich in my opinion. Only if netpkg gui can come up to speed with netpkg cli...

Kudos. - all envirtonments work great for me and the apps are great as well.

I am another user that does not have a credit card (I never will) or paypal. Is there a mailing address for direct donations to the Zenwalk project? That would be my preferred method of donation. I am sure there are other users that would like this method also. I do not really need any merchandise to support this project. X!!
