A few months back I decided to give Ubuntu a go.  It was fine.  I used it for a few weeks.  Then went back to WindowsXP, mostly to play a particular game.  Anyway, I've heard some very positive things about Zenwalk and thought I'd have a go with it.  The question is, can I use the target option in the installer to select my existing Ubuntu partitions and have it format those and install there?  If I can do so, what do I do about Grub (sadly there are a couple of applications I use that only run on Windows)?  And lastly, can I install from a DVD instead of a CD (I don't see why not but one never knows, and yes I must use a DVD)?

Thanks!

- you can taget your existing partitions (hda* will just be sda*, don't worry about it)
- you can install lilo over grub, lilo will be able to boot your XP as well.
- using DVD instead of CD shouldn't be a problem
