For some reason everything goes fine until after i click exit on the user creation menu, it just hangs into a Blank Screen, only thing i know how to do is Ctrl+Alt+Delete and that only makes a few pixels to light up and make the CPU do a little more. Then i have to forcibly shut it down.

Can anyone Help?

Heres the Model:

Toshiba Satellite 1805-S203 - Google the Specs, well please lemme know on the problem could be. Hell, ill start from scratch so long as someone tells me what to do, or what to type in. I suck at programming.

If u r able to do Ctrl Alt Del, then system isnt in Freezed state after exist. Some thing else is getting hanged. If u r able to use terminal, just do
tail /var/log/messages after this exit button clikced.

Probably we can know if some error message has occured or unusual mesg from kernel.

Ok, we have confirmed that system isnt hung, i will now try what you said and see what happens, but my questions to you from there is what can i do to solve this so i can use the Baseline GUI and enjoy my linux distro?

Also, please note, i also downloaded and burned a copy of the live CD and i get the same problem, but i will try what you said and see what happens.

EDIT: Well testing that was easy! Ctrl Alt F2,3,4 did nothing! Nor did 4-12 i even tried CtrlAltBreak to no avail.

Any suggestions?

You mentioned that Live cd also a problem.

Are you able to get the Live desktop running, forget the installation as of now.

If desktop comes up now, see if all of u r h/w are working correctly. If yes, then theres no problem in supporting u r h/w.
And when u do Ctrl Alt Del u get $ or # promt back right??
