Please check for standard compliance.
Also I'm unsure if I chose the right categories for the plugin packages. Maybe extra/l instead of extra/xap? Please have a look there.

Edit: I did another update, changed my folder structure a bit and now the source files should also be right.
:-X TOP SECRET :-X
This is now a zenver 60 build. ;D
:-X END TOP SECRET :-X

Just my artistic passion ;)

Another Edit: This time I applied some changes asked by gapan, and others? Current ver is now 60.2 for all.

I checked all your packages.
All are ok for me excepted this one compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported-0.7.8-i486-50.1.tgz
Why it is in 50.1 version ? :)

I can't test your package because my graphic card doesn't yet support the 3D :'(

If someone can test, it will be great.
Compiz has been asked from long time ago in the repo so if we can add it
It is the moment :)

I don't know either, probably I forgot to change that in the ZENBUILD. Weird that I didn't notice it before as I use the same ZENBUILD yet for quite some time. Nevermind fixed ZENBUILD and package uploaded. Link adapted.

I've tested this package on 2 computers yet, though, it would be great if somebody else could test it as soon as possible. I think I'll bug zenwalkuser (didn't hear of him quite some time though) a bit with this as he wanted me some time ago to create those packages and indeed I built them because of him.... DONE ;D

it's funny... there are so many people asking for compiz. and now when it is out for testing, no one is testing!

i will test the package tomorrow. :)

Thanks.
I assume those people aren't reading the board actively or at least regularly. It's the same with the guy in the German subforum who wanted to know if it's possible to disable the nvidia splash which comes alongside the proprietary driver. I answered that I don't think so and corrected me one day later, but apparenty he didn't read that anymore. Just looked here for that single question.

I have to revoke that this user in the German subforum didn't read my post. He did, he really did it. :)

Nevertheless I've rebuilt the packages another time. Just minor changes. The hot new you can read at the end of my first post. ;)

All your dep files are wrong and maybe I have something to do with it? ???

edit: I think something went wrong with your buildpkg patch...
Code:
Detecting dependencies...
./build-ccsm.sh: line 269: /cpu cores/h;${g;s/[^0-9]*//p}: bad substitution
./build-ccsm.sh: line 270: [: -lt: unary operator expected
./build-ccsm.sh: line 272: [: -gt: unary operator expected

compiz-bcop + compizconfig-backeng-gconf +compizconfig-python + libcompizconfig + simple-ccsm
slack-desc is too sparse

emerald
You can update the mime cache in the doinst

All packages
You could use --disable-static
Compiling with -march=i686 would make sense here

src files
Getting 404 on these:
Code:
http://gaia.homelinux.org/packages/Compiz/fusion-icon/0.1.0-60.1/ZENBUILD
http://gaia.homelinux.org/packages/Compiz/fusion-icon/0.1.0-60.1/build-fusion-icon.sh

Seems to be working very good though, nice job with the start dialog. ;)

The problem is there isn't much to write about them. They're just compiz libs and I also couldn't find any real information about them. So all I just kept the short descriptions of zariweb. All should have at least this
$pkgname - very short desc
short desc

The first is alright. I just forgot to remove the ZENBUILD from the source file. Thanks for the notice.
The 2nd should work though and does here.

Thanks. Great that you and the others like it. :)

gapan wrote:

I'm indeed having problem with depfinder. But it's rather me that the files are wrong. Here's depfinder's output:
Code:
# depfinder -j 4 ccsm-0.7.8-i686-60.1.tgz
cat: LIBS00: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
cat: LIBS03: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
cat: LIBS02: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
cat: LIBS01: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

So I tried to build without it but I messed something up with the diff for the patch and therefore didn't really reverse the patch, but did switch back to an old broken ver. Nevertheless I updated the patch. Now it definitely should work.

I'm fixing right now the rest and hope that I will soon be able to upload the new ver.

EDIT: BTW is it right if the python stuff is also i686 and will it use C(XX)FLAGS?
EDIT2: That depfinder problem seems to be python related. Nevermind I had another look at your depfile. Is it really 'xxlibs' which is required. Trying to find it on a mirror I messed up my system. ;)
:-X Not really of course. ;D

Updated build is online. I hope I addressed all the issues mentioned and did miss none, otherwise yell.

That's a bug with depfinder! \!D/

Should be fixed with this: http://pnboy.pinguix.com/gapan/depfinde ... 6-60.1.tgz
