Hi all,

I am a complete newbie to Zenwalk world and have few questions.

First, autologin:
If I chose the autologin option in the parameters, then, each time Zenwalk starts, before launching XFCE, I got a popup window telling me about my last login (date, hour, etc...) and I need to click on "validate" in order to finally launch XFCE automatically.

Can't I get rid of that? It's not a "real" autologin if I can't leave my computer during startup and come back with a fully ready desktop?

Second, cairo-Dock:
If I install cairo dock and its dependencies by using netpkg, it seems that the XFCE menu is reduced (parameters, login, etc... disapeared) and Thunar shows squares instead of letters for folders names. Strange isn't it?

Do you know this issue, and is there a way to fix it?

About the login, in the file /etc/pam.d/system-auth , uncomment, put a # before the last line, session-optional-pam_lastlog.so

About Cairo-dock, I don't know.

I tried both in a Virtual machine (using virtualbox), I did not want to screw up my real installation on my PC.

As Zenwalk is french (I guess), are the admins frenchs here?

Yep some admins are french
I don't know if opengl is supported under virtual machine.
