i thought it was dead but as it is not i wonder why it does not use the same version-strings as zenwalk as it is Zenwalk just a little bit modified. It also is called Zencafe so i don't understand that. ???

There's some Internet Cafe complaining about zencafe release cycle, it's too fast for internet cafe to upgrade their OS if we following Zenwalk release cycle (4-6 mounth), so i decide to give some break and change zencafe release cycle to something like, two version update for Zenwalk and one version update for Zencafe. Example, We have Zenwalk 6.0 now on for Zencafe 2.0. there's no Zencafe new release at Zenwalk 6.2, but you will get Zencafe new release after Zenwalk 6.4 has been released. I don't know this is great decision or not, but i think this is the best solution for a while.

hi 2 Daniel,

There's compiz effect that you can get from netpkg (Menu -> Update). Geforce family usualy use "nvidia", so check your xorg.conf to make sure your VGA card have correct xorg driver, grab the driver from netpkg if you don't have it. as long your VGA Card supported by compiz, you will get best compiz effect result as you want :D

Pidgin is multi protocol messenger, you can use msn, yahoo messenger, etc together. Sadly, there's no webcam support for pidgin yet. So, if you planned to use webcam with msn in your internet cafe, aMsn is you solution. Get it from netpkg (Menu -> Update) if you want to use this application.

Akuna wrote:ATM nvidia drivers packages are not included in the repo.

Better follow this How-to

Also you may need kernelsource (available through netpkg) to build the nvidia driver.

i'm sorry, for ATI and NVIDIA driver you can refer to Zenwalk Wiki, for NVIDIA you can refer to link what Akuna said.

thank's to fix it Akuna.

okay, but if get this right i have to this manually on every machine....?

is there any utility to avoid this....for example i used RyanVM Integrator and nlite to integrate drivers and Firefox and other programs into WINXP...

is it possible to modify(include aMSN, Compiz...etc) ZenCafe2.0 like this so i can just easily install it on other machines, because setting each machine manually will require a lot of time :(
because according to Zenwalk wiki i need to do "netpkg upgrade" command for nvidia drivers along with other "stuff", and that takes time, so you see why i want to make one "upgraded iso"

please advise, what do you think?

thanks in advance
